CSA Farms
What is a CSA? A Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm is one where members purchase a share of the harvest at the beginning of the season. Typically, a share will consist of a weekly box of vegetables picked up at the farm or satellite drop-off locations around the region. Some CSAs offer other items, such as meat or eggs. Members support local farmers by paying upfront for a season’s worth of produce; this makes it easier for the farmer to plan for the season. Chandler Pond Farm, S.
